Don’t take it as a cue, boys, but celeb hottie Sophia Bush says she’s a “big fan of anything that’s been in a deep fryer” – Namely, her calamari.

In an interview with OK! magazine, the 27-year-old One Tree Hill star said the last thing she ate was “fried calamari” confessing her weakness for anything deep-fried.

She also claimed what she’d demand if on her death bed: “I’d like a sampler platter of everything I love: a little steak, some fries, some sweet potatoes. I’d also like sushi and perhaps some flourless chocolate cake.”

To balance out the cravings for anything friend, Sophia is a huge fan of boxing and intense cardio to keep her lean figure. 

“I looove to box,” Sophia said in a past interview with Health magazine. “I once took a kickboxing class in college and got totally hooked. One of the things Jason [Walsh] and I do is heavy-bag training. He puts on the padded gloves, and we do combinations. It’s a good thing as a woman to feel powerful, and boxing is a great way to work out all your aggression.”

Walsh, Sophia’s celebrity personal trainer, spend four days a week working out together when she isn’t on set. Sophia’s also been linked to celebrity personal trainer Harley Pasternak, who has helped to shape the bodies of Miley Cyrus and Mandy Moore.

As for Jason, he’s worked with top celeb frames like Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake and Reese Witherspoon. But no matter which man she has on board for her sweat sessions, Sophia says both trainers are “the best” in L.A.

“Tthey share a similar attitude of ‘We don’t want you to be skinny, we want you to be in the best shape for you.’ I’m not a waify girl and never will be,” Bush told the mag. “I think it’s healthy when fitness experts encourage fitness rather than getting a certain body shape.”

For the past few years there has not been another actress that has gained more notoriety and clout than Sophia Bush. Her recent roles in the movies include The Hitcher, John Tucker Must Die, and The Narrows. Her career is getting so successful that in a 2009 issue of Forbes magazine she was listed in the top ‘Most Bankable’ starts due to the amount of money that she makes per film. Her booming success has gained her a following of younger women who all want to dress like her.

When it comes to the style that Bush portrays there is little she cannot pull off. Here are some of the ways that you too can look like Sophia Bush:

•    Dresses: Bush likes to wear a variety of different dresses on a rather regular basis. These dresses range in color from light to dark, but always are one solid color. One of the things about Bush is her incredible sense of accessorizing. With a white dress she will wear black leggings. With a dark gray skirt and a nice white dress shirt, she will wear a very professional looking blazer. Still other times she will simply wear a nice form fitting sleeveless dress and accessorize with nothing at all. Go wild and widespread and stick with what you think looks best on you.
•    Girl next door: This look shows just how everywoman Bush can actually look. To pull off this look for yourself you only have to wear a nice form fitting pair of jeans and a nice short sleeved shirt that shows your stomach and you are all set.
•    Formal: This is Bush’s time to shine. When going formal she goes all out. She likes to wear form fitting dresses that are a bit on the short side and that are typically made of a shiny material that is silver or some other attention grabbing color. When choosing your dress for your big night out be sure that it is not a loose fitting dress but don’t go tight either.
•    Shoes: Can you say heels? It seems that no matter what she is wearing Bush has heels on her feet. Her favorite type of heel is the open-toe style and more times than not she matches her shoe color with that of her dress.
•    Accessories: When going all out and formal, Bush like s to go big with the accessories. To imitate this go with bigger earrings, a big necklace, and some flashy bracelets. She also likes to carry a purse with her but the purses she owns tens to be on the small side.
•    Hair and make-up: Bush likes to wear her hair down for the most part and seems to have some extra body and bounce to it. Accomplish this by putting in some body defining product into your hair as soon as you get out of the shower, before you dry your hair. When it comes to your make-up plan on spending some extra time as Bush goes for the gusto in the make-up department. Feel free to go with a darker color for your lips but don’t go too dark as that will only give you the appearance of a Goth girl.

While you may not get on the Forbes lists, you will turn a few heads when you accurately dress like Sophia Bush.

Sophia Bush has no hesitation to share with OK! Magazine on whom she looks up to when it comes to standing out. In an interview with the publication’s Last Word, she reveals, “Penelope Cruz is so sensual and beautiful without ever being vulgar. She’s stunning to me. I think she’s our modern-day Sophia Loren.”

Additionally, the “One Tree Hill” star also admires Cate Blanchett, claiming the movie beauty as “the best thing since sliced bread” to her. “She amazes me with her choices in her career and in fashion. I really think she’s amazing. I also really admire wonderful, kind of quirky beauties like Zooey Deschanel, who always owns her own little thing,” she gushes.

When asked to share her “style mantra”, Sophia has this to say, “Always having fun with it. Putting on something that makes you feel great, whether you’re in the mood to be casual and throw on jeans and a v-neck t-shirt, or you want to get done up and put on a dress and the heels and throw the hair up in bobby pins. Regardless of what it is, you’ve gotta feel good. If other people are pushing you into fashion decisions, I don’t think that’s the way to go. That’s why I generally choose to dress myself.”

“What makes me feel most comfortable is feeling like I’ve been taking care of my body. It’s so important as an actor. For me as an actor, having healthy skin is just as crucial as having the big white smile,” she continues telling OK! Magazine. “For me, when I’ve been taking care of my skin and really treating myself well in that way, I always feel good at events because I’m not worried ‘do I have to cover something up?’ or ‘do I have dark circles?’ if I’ve been loading up on my antioxidants, drinking my green tea, taking my Omega 3 fish oils.”

“I know that all of that’s going to be taking care of, and it makes it easier to get ready, throw on the dress and then go have a good time and not be concerned about anything else. I don’t want to waste my time thinking about my appearance. I want to get ready and be done with it,” she concludes.

Nichols, Bush, and Ventimiglia held meet&greets the mornings of Nov. 20 and 21^st in Ramstein, Germany, where they signed autographs and posed for pictures with the service members and their families.

According to the official website for the USO, what the TV trio is doing leaves the troops and their family members with the most lasting emotional impressions.

“USO entertainers are essential to fulfilling the USO’s mission of boosting troop morale”.

Bush and Nichols are no strangers to donating their time and efforts to help the morale of others in need. This past September they both helped to raise money at the ‘Celebrity Autograph Fund-raiser’ for a memorial wall honoring fallen police officers to be built in Wilmington, NC, where ‘One Tree Hill is filmed.

Bush said as a child she was always encouraged by her parents to do charity work. Now the 27-year-old actress says she wants to give that same motivation to others.

“I think people have lost sight of how important it is to give back”, Bush told Star News recently.

Clearly Bush has not lost sight of giving back; she is a 2009 spokesperson for the Teachers Count campaign, and a long-time advocate for The Art of Elysium, which places emphasis on the importance of the arts in the lives of children battling serious medical conditions.

The next stop where Sophia Bush, Austin Nichols, and Milo Ventimiglia will place emphasis on the needs of others will be Turkey, where they will be until the completion of their USO tour on Nov. 25.

Sophia Bush talks about how Wilmington, ‘OTH’ have evolved

First it was veteran One Tree Hill actor James Lafferty who took over as director in the S7.07 episode “I and Love and You”, which ironically enough was also a very pivotal episode in the seventh season storyline for his character Nathan Scott.

This coming Monday another One Tree Hill actor takes over the directing chores as long running lead actress Sophia Bush takes her turn in the chair for the S7.09 episode “Now You Lift Your Eyes to the Sun” which was written by Karin Gist.

In the episode, Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) returns to the stage and Brooke (Sophia Bush) receives life-changing news. Meanwhile, Dan Scott (Paul Johannson) returns to Tree Hill much to the chagrin of Nathan (James Lafferty), who is about to sign a new NBA contract with the help of his agent Clay (Robert Buckley).  Austin Nichols, Shantel VanSanten, Lee Norris and Jackson Brundage also star.
